At Odlum’s Construction & Development Services Ltd, construction is more than simply what we do — it is a trade, a responsibility and a family business that we are proud to put our name to.
With decades of experience within the construction industry, our business has been built around straightforward principles: quality workmanship, honesty, reliability and professional delivery.
Formerly trading as UKES Construction, the move to the Odlum’s name represented a natural progression for the business. The involvement of the next generation of the Odlum family marked an important stage in its development, and it felt right that our family name should represent both the heritage of the company and its future.
A Family Business with Professional Capability
Being family-run is important to us, but it does not define the scale of the projects we undertake.
Odlum’s Construction & Development Services operates across both the domestic and commercial construction sectors, delivering everything from residential alterations, refurbishments and extensions through to larger commercial refurbishment, development and construction projects.
On larger projects, we have the capability to operate as the main contractor, coordinating the construction process and bringing together the skilled trades, specialist subcontractors and suppliers required to deliver the works effectively.
This allows our clients to benefit from the personal accountability and values of a family-run company while receiving the organisation, management and professional approach expected from an experienced construction contractor.

Within the domestic market, this includes extensions, refurbishments, structural alterations, property improvements and more substantial residential construction projects.
Within the commercial sector, we undertake refurbishment, alteration, improvement and construction works and can operate as the main contractor, managing and coordinating the various trades and specialist contractors involved in delivering the project.
Our approach is based on providing clients with a clear and accountable point of responsibility throughout the construction process.
